Do your research
Your date is giving you lots of clues in their dating profile about who they are and what they’re into – so use them! Scour their profile photos for hints, and if they say they like a particular band, restaurant, book or artist, get prepped and check them out ahead of your date. It’ll give you plenty to chat about, shows you have an open mind to new things and shows you’re making an effort. It was really cool to pick up a copy of my second favourite magazine, Psychologies magazine, at the airport on the way to Norway this month and find myself staring back from a double page spread. Last weekend I headed off to the London Gay Pride Festival in central London with my boyfriend, niece and camera along with 26,000 other people and had the best day. It was fantastic to see so many people celebrating and showing support to the LGBT+ community. The feeling of being there and sharing the experience with so many like-minded people was immense.
And it’s fantastic to see so many companies showing their support this year. My favourite came from Skittles who lost their rainbow for Pride Month.
